NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that commencing at 7:00 p.m., on September 28, 2010, the City of Baker City, Oregon (the “City”) will hold a public hearing for purposes of federal tax law with respect to the proposed issuance of one or more series of hospital revenue bonds (the “Bonds”) by the Hospital Facility Authority of the City of Ontario, Oregon (the “Authority”), the Michigan Finance Authority (“MFA”), the Indiana Finance Authority (“IFA”) and/or the Public Finance Authority (“PFA,” and together with the Authority, the MFA and the IFA, the “Issuers”) in an aggregate amount not to exceed $1,700,000,000, pursuant to a plan of finance for various capital facilities, including an amount not to exceed $50,000,000 with respect to capital facilities located in the City, as more fully described below. The proceeds of the Bonds will be loaned to Trinity Health Corporation, an Indiana nonprofit corporation, and will be used to finance or reimburse the costs of acquisition, construction, furnishing and equipping of certain health care facilities (collectively, the “Project” (as described below)), and pay certain expenses incurred in connection with the issuance of the Bonds. Trinity Health Corporation and its subsidiaries and affiliates, including Trinity Health Oregon-Idaho, Inc., Trinity Holy Rosary Medical Center and Trinity St. Elizabeth Health Services, Inc., are collectively “Trinity Health.” The “Project” consists of the acquisition by Trinity Health of St. Elizabeth Hospital, 3325 Pocahontas Road, Baker City, Oregon and related properties, including construction, renovation, equipment acquisition and miscellaneous capital expenditures related thereto. BURNT RIVER Fall Conservation Tour The Burnt River Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting a conservation tour for the public on Tuesday, September 21. The conservation tour will consist of touring the Camp Creek/Whitney Valley Improvement Project. The group will have the pleasure of viewing conservation practices funded by OWEB, the landowners and several other partners. The tour will kick off at 8:30 a.m. with donuts and coffee at the USDA Service Center at 3990 Midway Dr. Baker City, Oregon across from the hospital helipad. Lunch will be provided. We are planning returning to the Service Center around 3 o,clock. Please RSVP if you will be attending by Friday, September 10th.
